Paula Renee Burzawa, Author
Born of Greek heritage, Paula Renee Burzawa spent ten summers visiting the ancient village of Vassara, Greece before turning twenty-one.
Traveling to her ancestral land has been the basis of her writing, documenting unique insights into her mother's and grandmother's homeland. Paula writes for the Arlington Heights Almanac, Vassara-Verroia.com and The Vassara News, an international newspaper.
Seasons of Sun earned the Editor's Choice Award, Rising Star Award, and Reader's Choice Award. In 2013, she was accepted into the Sirenland Writer's Group in Positano, Italy.
In 2015, Paula released her second novel, a prequel to Seasons of Sun entitled Tasso's Journey, a historical tale of her maternal grandfather during the final days of World War II and the beginning of Greece's civil war.
With her 3rd book awarded the Editor's Choice distinction, Eternal Stones and Other Memories of Greece will be released before the end of 2018. While working on her 4th book, Paula lives in Arlington Heights, IL with her husband and two children.
