Paula Renee Burzawa, Author
Born of Greek heritage, Paula Renee Burzawa spent ten summers visiting the ancient village of Vassara, Greece before turning twenty-one.
Traveling to her ancestral land has been the basis of her writing, documenting unique insights into her mother's and grandmother's homeland. Paula writes for the Arlington Heights Almanac, Vassara-Verroia.com and The Vassara News, and international newspaper.
Seasons of Sun is Paula's debut novel, and has earned the Editor's Choice Award, Rising Star Award, and Reader's Choice Award. In 2013, she was accepted into the Sirenland Writer's Group in Positano, Italy. Most recently, Paula was nominated for the 2014 "Soon To Be Famous" Author Project, highlighting up and coming authors in the state of Illinois.
Paula is currently working on her second novel, a prequel to Seasons of Sun, which is planned for a 2014 release. She lives in Arlington Heights, IL with her husband and two children.
